I once read "When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'" (Erma Bombeck). This hit hard. Sure we're not perfect, but we should be so thankful for Jesus Christ and and the unconditional love from our Father that we want to do His will. We want to love on others. We want to represent Christ, and when someone sees us, we want them to see Jesus. We want to be disciples and spread the Good News. And what do we not want..? To be conformed to this world. Just because society says it's ok, doesn't mean that it actually is.
Let us not follow into being hypocritical "Christians." Let us wear these together and represent. After all, people's true eternal lives are counting on it.
